My passion blossomed in 2021

My Name is Carys and my journey into the world of floristry began in 2021 with a course that ignited a passion I never knew I had. I felt, truly, this is what I was meant to do. I had turned 40 and really rethought my career and decided it was time to try something new, With the unwavering support of my dad, I worked tirelessly to explore the possibility of opening a flower shop right here in my little valley town. And so, in April 2022, Beautiful Blooms was born. I am so proud of what I have archived in 4 years since the shop opened. To Celebrate the milestone I'm branching out in the hope of attracting new customers with this brand new website

Crafting personal touches for every occasion

From the very beginning, I wanted Beautiful Blooms to offer that personal touch, ensuring every creation feels special and truly made just for you. I pride ourselves on excellent customer service, believing no job is too big or too small. I love unusual flowers and strive to create bouquets that stand out from the crowd. There’s nothing more special than working closely with a bride to craft their perfect wedding florals, making their vision bloom into reality.

Sustainable beauty, from my valley to your home

Sustainability is at the heart of what I do. The floristry industry has made incredible strides in creating sustainable materials, and I proudly incorporate these wherever possible. We are also incredibly fortunate to have amazing British growers who produce stunning blooms, from cheerful tulips to vibrant sunflowers. I love showcasing these seasonal wonders in my arrangements, bringing you the freshest and most beautiful flowers with a clear conscience.

"Beautiful Blooms truly understands the art of personal touch. My wedding flowers were beyond anything I imagined, and the service was simply exceptional!"

A happy bride from Maesteg

My Story

Yes its just me, I am the florist, the tea maker, the sweeperupper, the accountant, the purchaser, I do it all. Starting this business was my baby, I knew I needed a change and after I did my training I knew this was something I could get stuck into. Its hard running a business and juggling everything constantly trying to think of new ideas and stay ahead while providing an excellent service. I have learned so much along the way and everyday is a learning curve I still feel like an imposter, but I pride myself in what I do and I work hard to maintain it.

I couldn't have done any of it without the love and support of my Dad from building all of my worktops and counters to painting everything in sight, he is my go to, odd job man, my rock and my absolute hero. We lost my mother some years ago and she absolutely loved flowers she would loved to have got involved on this project, there's not a day goes by without wondering what she would think. In May 2024 I met a man that would change everything, he proposed in December, and we are set to get married this year, and I couldn't be happier, and yes I am doing my own flowers for the wedding it will be a breeze watch this space

My Other Passions

I love to travel to new places, I have a calling to the sea, I love to read historical and romantic fiction when I'm not buying flowers I'm buying books. I am part of the local musical Theatre society, I am a member of the Women's Institute and I very much enjoy a glass of red wine and a chill out with Friends.
